Intervals

Privacy policy

Last updated November 6, 2026. Applies to the Intervals app for iPhone and iPad.

Intervals keeps your timers and log on your device. We don't collect, receive, store, sell or share any of your information.

What we collect

Nothing through the app. Intervals has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We never see, receive or store anything you enter. No third party receives your data from the app, because the app doesn't send it anywhere.

What the app stores on your device

The timers you set up, your settings and daily goal, your log of sessions and any notes you add, and copies of audio files you import as sounds. They stay inside the app on your device.

If you use iCloud Backup or back up your device to a computer, this information is included in that backup like other app data. Those backups are managed by Apple or by you, and we can't access them.

Notifications

Interval alerts are local notifications scheduled by iOS on your device. Nothing passes through a server. If you have a paired Apple Watch, iOS may mirror them to it. You can turn them off at any time in the iOS Settings app, and the timer still works.

Sounds and voice

Audio files you import are copied into the app and used only as your timer sounds. The Voice option uses speech built into iOS to read out your interval names.

Deleting your data

Swipe to delete, or tap a session and choose Delete Session, to remove entries from your log. Swipe to delete timers and imported sounds. Deleting the app removes everything it stores on your device, and data in device backups is removed as those backups are replaced or deleted.

If you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply. Our support mailbox is hosted by Gmail. We keep messages only as long as we need them to help you. If you'd like a message deleted, just ask.

Children

Intervals isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes
